Privacy policy

Translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

This site gets by with as little data as possible: no cookies, no tracking, no third-party content. Here is what is processed anyway, and why.

Hosting

The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The host processes data only on our instructions and on servers in Germany.

Server log files

Every time the website is accessed, the server stores technically necessary information sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, requested file, amount of data transferred, status code, the previously visited page (referrer), and browser and operating system. This is required to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are deleted automatically after a short time and are not combined with other data.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address in order to tell you when Snoutsy launches. We use a double opt-in process: you receive an email with a confirmation link, and only after you click it are you on the list. This makes sure nobody signs up with someone else’s address.

We store only your email address, the time you signed up and the time you confirmed. The confirmation link is kept only as an irreversible hash. We do not store your IP address in this process.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. We keep the times of sign-up and confirmation as proof of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (c) in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after seven days. Confirmed addresses are kept until Snoutsy launches and we have informed you, or until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw at any time with effect for the future, for example by emailing info@webdesign-heim.de or by replying to our email.

Emails are sent through our host’s mail server. No other service providers are involved.

To find errors in sign-up and confirmation, we log these steps. The log contains no IP address and your email address only as a shortened, irreversible hash; when you click the confirmation link, it also records your browser’s identifier (user agent). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working process (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 30 days.

Cookies, tracking, fonts

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools. Fonts are served from our own server; no connection to other providers is made when the page loads. The voices of the demo scene (“Sound on”) are audio files generated in advance with AI (OpenAI) and loaded from our server; no data is sent to OpenAI or any other third party.

Your rights

You have the right to

  • access the data we store about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR),
  • withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

An email to info@webdesign-heim.de is enough.
